Applications for compact company grants being approved | Local News

Greene County Commissioners announced that purposes are becoming approved for the Forgivable Progress for Small Business enterprise Help (FASBA).

The plan offers up to $50,000 grants for little, nearby firms with 100 staff or much less, who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Greene County applied the Local community Enhancement Block Grant (CDBG) Coronavirus Assist, Reduction, and Financial Safety (CARES) Act referred to as CDBG-CV to fund FASBA.

For funding to be forgiven, businesses must keep or generate complete-time equivalent positions for small-to-reasonable-revenue staff. FASBA funds can be applied to pay out for the pursuing eligible costs: payroll, lease/house loan, utilities (fuel, cellphone, etc.), provides (up to 90 days), PPE, insurance policies, accounting, authorized, advertising and marketing and can reimburse eligible charges incurred to “prevent, prepare for, and react to coronavirus.” Other eligibility needs do implement.

This is not a 1st-arrive, very first- served software. There will be two rounds of funding, Round 1 ending on Jan. 15 and Spherical 2 ending Feb. 1.
