Mr. DeSoto started his career in regulation, specializing in bankruptcy and industrial litigation, prior to joining Terrific American’s Corporate Claims Division in 2008. In 2010, he joined the Specialty E&S Division, now identified as Wonderful American Threat Answers, with responsibility for Claims Operations. In 2014, Mr. DeSoto assumed the position of Divisional Senior Vice President overseeing Underwriting, Functions and Accounting as well as other Divisional functions.

Mr. DeSoto is a graduate of Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Record and Literature, cum laude. He also attained his Juris Medical doctor (JD) from the College of Oregon School of Law. Moreover, he retains the Associate in Promises (AIC), Affiliate in Surplus Strains (ASLI), and Chartered Assets and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
